A dark, milky breakfast stout. The head pours dark – almost coffee crema like – along with a toasty, bourbon-esque aroma. Both are a product of the chocolate and black roasted malts used. Full bodied with a low to medium bitterness and low carbonation. It’s these that compliment and let the long lingering notes of coffee, chocolate, dark caramel and bourbon barrel flavours shine through. Medium to medium-high hotness, from the alcohol, which adds a final warming feeling long after the swallowed sip. |
